Foreward Hello everyone, my name is Vincent Hazard. This is my first attempt at historical fiction. The Vietnam War has had a profound impact on my life, some forty to fifty years after it happened. This will be a collection of memoirs, manifestos, journals, interviews, and stories from the Vietnam War. The written accounts of people who lived through and those who lived beyond the war. All accounts are purely fictional. I hope everyone enjoys what I will write, and constructive criticism is ever welcomed. Thank you. This is my autobiographical memoirs: Born in China, I grew up in the Chinese ghetto of Saigon, a back water community of the world. This is the story of how I was educated and gradually grew to realize that there was a wide world outside, learned to love writing, found a chance to go to college in Taiwan, discovered a way to come to America, got a graduate education in journalism here, built a career, grew a family and finally enjoying my retirement while continued to learn now things . I like to share my life's story with others, especially today's young people, as a cautionary tale if not a case study on how to look at and plan their future life.
