In a world where everyone has supernatural talents the last frontier is space.

Sam and his team are the backup crew to a spaceship, training for the mission which will take them beyond the limits of the solar system. But when word reaches earth that someone has gone ahead of them to sell the planet to a distant race, their mission becomes urgent. Time is running out and with their half-finished ship they are all that stands between humanity and an unimaginable fate.

And Sam has his own problems to keep hidden.
