Harry James Potter returned to the Dursleys' house after his fourth year at Hogwarts. Things couldn't be worse. Already traumatized by the death of a classmate, Harry is starved and beaten by his relatives. 
The night of his 15th birthday Harry feels an extreme amount of pain before noticing a very big change in his magic.  As Harry discovers the truth about those he considered his 'friends' and 'allies' what will he do? Will he continue to live as the Golden Boy of Gryffindor - the epitome of light or will he want to change?  Who will he trust?
