Because when you think about it, he's really just kind of useless. A highly transformed reimagination of The Little Mermaid set in a vague location in a vague mid-1900s time period, with plenty of fourth wall breaking, existentialist fun - in inspired Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead fashion. Undersea

This is a story about an under water city called Undersea. It is not a particularly magical place this city, in the way we might expect an under water city to be (with mermaids, talking fish, and so forth) but is instead an everyday sort of place that we might be used to. Except that it is under water. In this story we meet an everyday sort of girl named Sarah, watch her grow, and witness the choices she must make. For in reality this is a story about how certain thoughts and ideas will come to certain conclusions, horrendous as they might be in the end. But here we are getting quite ahead of ourselves. All in good time my friends! Dedications: To Berdella and Maxine (my grandmothers) now passed, and for three yet to be born. Also to Mr. Asimov.
