SYSTEM: Filling the Pitholes

Due to his utterly unhinged twin sister, Lu Yan's peaceful life came to a very unreasonable end.

Not only did he die from a reader's curse meant for someone else-
he also woke up bound to a suspicious system named Ah Bao, who happily informed him:

"Congratulations, Host! You are now part of the Pitholes Filling System!"

Lu Yan: "...That sounds fake."
Ah Bao: "It's not."
Lu Yan: "...I want a refund."

Now forced to travel across worlds, Lu Yan has one simple job:

✔ Fix plot holes
✔ Protect the protagonist
✔ And when necessary-
✔ Die for him

Lu Yan: "...I regret everything."

But things quickly go off track.

Because in every world, there's always that one man-

Dangerous.
Unreasonably persistent.
Suspiciously familiar.

And no matter how hard Lu Yan tries to avoid him-

He always ends up being found.

"Why are you here again?"
"I was nearby."
"You live across the city."
"I walked."
"...That's not normal."

Worse-

The closer Lu Yan gets, the more things start to feel... wrong.

Strange memories.
Unfamiliar emotions.
A lingering sense of déjà vu he can't explain.

Why does his heart ache for someone he just met?
Why does fear feel mixed with something he can't name?
And why-

Does it feel like he's the one who betrayed him?

As the worlds unfold, so does the truth:
