"Got any fives?"
    "Go fish."
There was a grunt. "You know, this would be a lot easier if I had opposable thumbs."
"I'm sure it would be, but you're a dragon so you kinda have to deal."
Luana has been locked in the highest room of the tallest tower for eight years. After being snatched in the night, she lives alongside her faithful dragon protector, Drayke. The two do everything together and have become the closest pair in the kingdom, but when everything is turned upside down, Luana must set out on a journey. Will she survive?

~ COMPLETE AND NOW AVAILABLE ON AMAZON ~ In the Five Kingdoms of Saol Eile, magic is the only currency and those who have the most cast long shadows across the land. Amidst lavish parties, sumptuous banquets, and sprawling castles, despicable tyrants have risen, calling themselves kings by right; emperors, by the laws of old magic, and monarchs, by the wealth they've procured. When it's rumored that an army of flesh-eating monsters has risen from the shadows, tyrant-kings are forced to submit to a far more dangerous power - the sorcerer standing at the head of it all: The Cursed One. Orphaned and penniless, eighteen-year-old Cecily Trask's magic has always been reluctant to emerge. But with the kingdoms at the brink of war, she vows to do whatever it takes to keep her people safe-even if it means breaking all the rules, reaching into the depths of her soul to unravel the bindings around her true power, and allying with the potentially dangerous prince, Daire Niadh, to do it. In a landscape thick with mistrust, desire, and incipient hope, Cecily and Daire cross paths in an unfamiliar world forever changed by violent forces neither of them understand. They should hate each other. They should want each other dead. But their grief both draws them together and breaks them down, until all they have left is their shared goal - to defeat The Cursed One, even though for Cecily, the journey means almost certain death. ❧ Copyright © Marcella Colavecchio, 2014 - 2020.

47 parts Complete Mature
In the world of Dragonfire, anything is possible. Flying, teleportation, invisibility, the ability to create a lightning storm on a whim...anything can be done. And anything can exist. Goblins, Orcs, Dragons, Dwarves, Kitsunes...there are countless races, and countless abilities. A world of fantasy in which anything is achievable. Or so it seems. After all, everything has a cost. And victory...victory is the most costing of all. Across the Black Sea, guarded by the Leviathan, there exists a large land separated into five territories. Celestia, Arvan, Ingres, Illicen, and Arumi. These five territories are named after those who control them. At least, that is how it used to be. From a distant land, the Snake Kingdom managed to bypass the Leviathan, and invade these five territories! Under the guidance of General Clauve, they crushed everyone in sight, until their only remaining opponent was Celestia. But they made a mistake, and Celestia capitalized. In a crushing defeat, the Snake Kingdom was bested after nearly 8 years of conflict. After the war ended, Albedo Aria, a soldier from Celestia, was promoted to the rank of General. But she didn't feel like a hero. Suffering from severe PTSD, this story follows her as she tries to overcome the nightmares of war, and move on from the terrible things she was forced to do. She was raised to be a soldier, and joined the war from the age of eleven. As a soldier of Celestia, she could never, and still cannot ever disobey any orders. When war calls, she must answer. Whether she is truly willing to or not. But after four years without conflict, surely things couldn't reach that state again? Or perhaps that isn't the case. After all, her dear cousin must deliver a letter to her. A letter telling her that the Snake Kingdom is on the rise in their very own land. A letter telling her that every sliver of happiness she has gained after the war ended will be lost. A letter telling her that she must return to war...

"What does duty mean to you?" Shackled by the Empire's last flickering breath, the Princess is smitten by a hotshot rookie commander. Duty-bound, both of them learn to lead . . . together, or apart. ✧ Lay down the humble crown, fight the war and kill the dove. The Old Golems only frown upon the ones who cannot love. ✧ Princess May thought the crown never fit her - she was too clumsy, too frail, too immature. But when a traitor kidnaps her only sister, she must leave the polished palace and chase a spy through the Empire's darkest shadows. Yjennka forged the start of his legendary military career, catching royal attention like a crack of thunder. Rising through the ranks, the Princess took him in as a top-tier bodyguard. But behind the accolades and Guard status, he must carry the weight of every soul lost under his command. With secrets, scars, and the spy hunt unravelled, the duo's paths intertwine. Together, they'll learn how leadership binds them together - or tears them apart . . . --- A low fantasy story set in an alternative medieval-gunpowder mix era. Slow burn romance, court thriller mystery, existential philosophy, military strategy, and just good ol' fantasy action/slice of life. Trigger warnings of violence, warfare, moral ambiguity, heavy romance.
