[POST LIGHTFALL, BEGINNING OF SEASON OF DEFIANCE] Mara blinked open her eyes as she awoke from slumber but she couldn't stop the slight wince she produced as the morning sunlight instantly blinded her eyes. The Queen of the Reef tried to turn to the other side of the bed to escape the light but was stopped with a weight holding her down that her sleep muddled mind hadn't comprehended until just this moment. When Mara looked down though, she couldn't help the soft smile that spread across her face when she saw the Young Wolf's tousled up brown curls obscuring her vision.
