Is it a passionate tale of love? Or should we call it a highly original action? The novel is, in my own opinion, a unique and gripping blend of these genres. It is an epic saga full of desire, hate, revenge and friendly love, focusing on the main characters of Vercetti, Tommy, Naomi and Hadassah. The atmospheric setting of Tennessee, USA clearly mirrors these violent emotions and scenes.

Vercetti, Naomi's lover, found himself teaming up with his friends to wage war against crimes, especially Tommy who is a detective. Tommy, on the other hand, have an affection for Hadassah who finished from the US Military Academy.
The characters have their different responsibilities and parts to take in ensuring that there is love within them. 

However, in the process of ensuring love exists within them, they found themselves to be heroes, saving lives. Infact, this is the main reason why I believe this novel is so brilliant. It rings with truth.

Gangland is not what I would call an easy read. And also to some readers, I would call it an easy read. There is dense discription which may be difficult to follow.

Nevertheless, I persevered and, all in all, I can highly recommend this novel. I challenge you to remain unmoved after reading this exceptional book.All Rights Reserved
