How do you know when you've become certifiably insane? Is it when you start seeing and hearing your dead best friend everywhere after her funeral? When Amber Moore commits suicide, Max feels broken. So when Amber starts talking to her, popping up everywhere she goes, she's convinced she's done for. How do you just move on from something like that, especially when you literally have a constant memory following you around? You can't, but you have to at least try to get some closure. And that's what Max is determined to do to get Amber to stop haunting her.
