"It's so strange that autumn is beautiful; yet everything is dying, don't you think so ?" His velvety voice rang in my ears, carried away by the chilly autumn breeze.
I look up at him, an eyebrow cocked up questioningly.
"You're a strange one, y'know that right?" I asked, shaking my head as I looked back at the water.
The blue waves swished back and forth, splashing against the rocks below us.
A featherlight laugh tumbled from his lips, the corners of his eyes crinkling up as his teeth peered through his bunny-like smile.
