Atlanta and Athena are two royals from the kingdom of Irkalla. Their father, the benevolent King Talos, has begun building up the nations armies and putting down dissent with force. They attempt to get to the bottom of it, but are forced to flee as he sends assassins after them. They then must join forces with an old mercenary and hero who's fallen from grace, a young witch who questions her elders, and many more as they attempt to stop their father's conquest and get to the bottom of his sudden change of heart. _____________________________________________________________________________ Well, with the summary out of the way, time to say a couple things. This is my first actual story that's not fan fiction. It's bound to have at least a couple mistakes, which you can point out to me. Any and all criticism is appreciated and also expect the updates to be random at times since I have school and that takes up a lot of time.

Falan and his brother, Jax, are new to the world of magic. They're magelings - untrained magic-wielders - and they're powerful. They soon become locked in a conflict between the Brotherhood of the Kings and a mysterious Order. One side wants to kidnap them for their magic, and the other will do anything to keep them from falling into the Brotherhood's hands. When the Order sends an agent, Freya, to their aid, she doesn't seem happy to help. She's closed, snappish, and short tempered, and she has no love for magelings or magic. But the brothers soon discover that she's superhuman, with impossible strength and fighting skill. She also has secrets. The leader of the Brotherhood soon discovers her identity- and he'll go to any length to kill her.
