During American president George H.W. Bush's second year in office he had vowed to focus on the geo-politics of, and the dissolution of the U.S.S.R. The states of Ukraine, and Belarus had been recognized as candidates for independent nations by President Bush because they had already been states within the U.S.S.R. However, what had gone under the notice of President Bush, and President Gorbachev was the cultural area known by locals as Tresznikov. Many Ukrainians, and Belarusians knew well as to not enter Tresznicov as cultural tensions teetered on the edge of civil war. There had long been a separatist movement within Tresznikov that illegally armed themselves with smuggled in weapons from Polish manufacturers. This state of armament effectively created a different state with the Ukrainian, and Belarusian S.S.R. However when the consideration of making Ukraine and Belarus separate nations of themselves came along the geo-cultural region known Tresznikov to the locals went majorly unnoticed.
