" You only truly miss someone when they are gone. And sometimes, it's hard to let go. But you have to let him go..." It is hard when your loved one is gone. But for Riley, it was something different. In a sick sort of way, she loved it-reminiscing about Leo, literally drowning in the memories of him. And it isn't long till Riley does drown herself among those gray memories, shutting and shunning the world forever, in a place too far to reach. She is already so gone, that every one of her friends and family are very close to giving up, and on each tick of the clock Riley is close to letting go. Will a curious stranger's words save her, or will Riley try to save herself? *If you read the summary, and decided that it is some sort of typical clichè , I'd like to tell you that this is NOT a cliche 'damsel-in-distress-saved-by-a-knight-in-shining-armour' story at all. You won't find anything such as that, as the tags suggests too. Sophomore Year
~Completed~ A 16 year old girl goes into sophomore year as a new student. Hoping that it's one to remember, she realizes that it will be. Not in the way that she had hoped. Lindsay goes through a lot of difficult situations from her mom's boyfriend, to her friend's dad, to her mom moving, to her moving with dad, to moving schools, to transferring back and losing one of her best friends. Lindsay begins to lose hope, and she begins to get really depressed to the point she feels like suicide is all that's left. She turns to drugs, alcohol, and self-harm. Feeling as if no one cares, she begins to plan her suicide. She does fine in school in hopes that it will keep the attention away from her actions. Coming to the end of sophomore year, she begins to see what's good about life as she promises Dr. Barns, and Mrs. Gibson gives her reason and inspiration. ---------------------- ❗️Not all events in this story are true. "I walked over to where Aaron was sitting on the ground, kneeling so that I was face-to-face with him. He has average looks, he is OK with sports, and his only strong point is that he is smart (although that doesn't mean much to his fellow classmates). And, of course, his virgin ass has never had a girlfriend, let alone a crush. It seemed as if he would never find someone. That was until he met her, Scarlett Hale. She was the most beautiful girl you will ever meet. Kind, sweet, and one of the few people with a higher GPA then him, she was amazing and Aiden imagined that she would be all his. Once Aiden gets rid of her boyfriend, Aaron Tyler. The most annoying guy you will ever meet, Aiden gags just thinking about him. The man is smoking hot and makes Aiden's dreams of getting the girl to seem very impossible. So what would happen if Aiden gets involved with the wrong person? Will Aiden get the girl? He snaps back at me. "Fuck you, Arlan!" I slap him across the face before leaving the and slamming the door behind me. Korinna and Arlan used to be the best of friends since they were five years old. Then something happened during Freshman year that made him resent her and start becoming her bully. Now as Seniors, this will be their last year of ever having to see each other and Arlan is about to inherit his parents money that he is to receive when he not only turned eighteen. His brother came back home to make sure he is doing everything he is supposed to. There's just one problem that could ruin him being set for life. He made a bet with his best friend that he couldn't make Korinna to ever trust or like him ever again enough to sleep with her. Now he has to make sure he wins and that his brother doesn't find out. Her smile widened. "Nothing." Ever since Emma started going to Silver Creek High, she's been bullied over her discolored eyes. It all started when a boy brought attention to her in biology class one day, laughing at her and calling her a "freak" while the rest of the class laughed along with him. She never looked at him or saw his face; she just ran out of the room crying. She was now an outcast labeled as a freak and she wanted nothing more than to just disappear. She felt she had no purpose in life. Until her sophomore year when she fell in love with Liam, the guy every girl wanted; the guy every dude wanted to be.
