Asteri Tale is an original story written by me as an attempt to write a fluffy cute magical girl&boy story along the lines of stuff such as Tokyo Mew Mew, Sailor Moon and Fushigiboshi no Futago Hime back in 2012. I say attempt because once I actually started developing the characters' backstories it got dark fast.
This group of misfit teens must harness the powers of the zodiac as they fight against a faceless villain known as "The Master". Utilizing the powers of an opposing teen army who possess their own powers based on the eastern zodiac, The Master seeks a powerful weapon developed by an ancient civilization. His motives are unclear but he is willing to sacrifice anything to obtain the weapon.
The story is told through the eyes of the zodiacs as they face the trials of daily life as well as their new found destiny. When the lines of love, morality, bonds, and trust are questioned, who is the real enemy and who is an ally in disguise?
