When Aunt May is abducted, Peter Parker is the only one who believes she is still alive. With the help of Tony Stark and the rest of the Avengers, will Peter be able to find May and save her before it's too late? During an attempt to save May, Peter is badly injured and is close to death, so Tony enlists Bruce to install an arc reactor in Peter's chest to save him from dying.
Along the way, Peter will make many friends and foes, and break down the walls Tony Stark has spent so many years building. But will it be enough to win over the man's iron heart?

This is my first Marvel fanfic, and since I'm new to the Marvel fandom, if I get something wrong, please tell me. I apologize in advance. Besides this, I hope you enjoy my story!

Tony was like a father to him, and he didn't want to lose the man he always looked up to. So he decided to start writing letters to Tony. Lots and lots of letters, one a day, all sent to the hospital Tony was in, in high hopes that he will one day wake up and be able to read them. Tony Stark knows what he is capable of. Being one of the most powerful man in the world he'd never thought that he'll end up in this kind of situation. He pulls the teen up to his feet and the teen quickly went in his arms. Peter was then taken to an Orphanage where he was neglected by the care takers only a few kids try to help him make it through his time in the Orphanage. But sadly over the time of three months Peter slowly stopped talking, the schools therapist that was in charged of helping Peter to talk again. Tony and Pepper are wanting to adopt a kid thinking that having a kid will help keep the other's from having another 'Civil war' issue. So that is what they did, going to the closest Orphanage in Queens. When they first lay their eyes on Peter they knew that he was special and that he was the one. Everything was going great but all good things must come to an end. Will Peter make it out of his depressed state or will he be forever lost in his depression. He could always tolerate it and hide his scars and bruises but, when she finds out he's Spider-Man, everything shatters. He has nowhere to turn except to his mentor, Tony Stark: the man he strives to be like. This isn't a Starker shipping fic, it's where Tony takes in Peter because everyone loves a wholesome and funny fanfiction.
