You use to live in sunagakure(the hidden sand village) and just started the academy there but your family sent you to konohagakure (the hidden leaf village) at a very young age for reasons you do not know why,They only left a scroll to give to the hokage.
You do live a happy life in konohagakure thanks to the hokage giving you an apartment, the money you need to survive and allowing you to join the academy.
