When vanessa goldstone losses her mother to a drunk driver she must find a way to cope with the guilt. she thinks the accident is her fault and turns to drugs, drinking, and cutting herself to release her pain. Her life is spiraling out of control, when she meets hunky football captain jason mahone and starts falling for him, can he be the only thing to make her happy again. But jason has a deep and scary secret that could ruin everything the two share. Keeping the secret from vanessa will prevent heartbreak but could possibly hurt her even more in the end. Jason has to make a choice and either way someone gets hurt. Will these two work out and be happy together or will jasons past ruin there future together?
