Rowan Cartwright had watched in the sidelines as her best friend fell in love with the boy she had a crush on for years. She had always felt like she wouldn't get a chance with him.
But when she accidentally overhears the Council say that they are sending one hundred prisoners to Earth, she gets herself arrested to go as well. Once in the dropship, Rowan sees that the boy she likes is there too. She also notices that her best friend isn't there, which in her eyes is a good thing.
When the hundred prisoners land on the ground, they're excited to be away from the Ark, to be free. But with freedom comes trials and tribulations. The hundred can make it out alive if only they work together and get along with each other.
