Ever since I was a kid I always loved flowers. My grandparents were gardeners, they would tell me about every flower and it's meanings. I loved every flower even though I was never quite fond of Roses.

They were pretty but only pretty enough to admire from afar.

Their thorns kept me away. I was always scared of getting pricked by one. I didn't want to know the pain it could harbor.

My grandma once told me that red roses stood for love. She told me she believed the thorns represented how much love could hurt if your not too careful.

That's why I try not to get too close because not matter how careful you are you'll get pricked eventually.
