The town of Miserable was just like any other small town. Cabin like houses, every 15th day it rained strawberry milk or blood, fields, forests, a holiday for town hero Herbert Tenley (who died during a political protest he executed by trying to eat 15 pumpkins in a row, but died before the sixth), nice little parks...

Edith liked many things: those curious straycats, cheap tea and the ghost of her dog - Victor Barksbowow. She understood Swedish and animals. That is why she knew that Henry Samuel Morley's cat didn't like having nine lives and actually was alarmingly alcoholic and suicidal. Henry Samuel Morley wished he could too speak with his cats, but he didn't have any special talents. He could only name 35 different butterflies, see ghosts, remember 268 decimals of Pi and turn partially invisible.

Even though hating to go outside and talking with people, Henry Samuel Morley did end up going on an adventure with Edith to save Miserable and stop Sinclair Fox and a satanic student from destroying the town with red wine, killing boogeymans and leaving tiger lilies everywhere.

Everyone in town knows about the sea monster. Every night, he goes into town to find his prey. He lures them in with his voice, only to bring them back to the ocean, to eat them. Few survive this, and the people who do, they lose their mind, like they were cursed. You can only gather from them that he was beautiful, his voice was like an angel's, and that when he took you into the ocean, he became a monster. He only hunted young men, women, teens, and the occasional twelve-year old. It was terrifying, because the people had no way to stop him. Every night, someone would go missing, or come back insane. They knew he lived in the ocean, and when people tried to bomb the area where they thought the monster lived, they would either be cursed, or just eaten by the sea monster himself. And the people who came back insane, they would always wander over the fact that the monster had not even a scratch on him. Teens, young men and women would fear for their lives, and lock themselves in their houses at night. But only one person refused to hide, either in bravery or utter stupidity. That person was Will Solace. So basically, this story is based on the cover art of the book. I just thought it was such a great idea and wanted to put it to story. I saw another person do this and they used the same cover art, and I hope you guys like my version! I, personally very much like it and hope you guys do to! (I don't own any of the characters or art work that appears in this fanfic. All of the characters belong to Rick Riordan.)

"I see Mr O'Cain has tried to help you, I guess that's how you've conquered your paranoia." Everyone worries about Audrey Williams. She wishes that this wasn't the case. Six months ago, her brother drowned. She tries to get back to normal, she wants to go back to normal, well as normal as it can get. But when her and her friends go on a museum trip and a somewhat familiar statue is seen from a childhood book, Peter decides it would be funny if he "unleashed" the curse. What happens? Let's say that someone turns into a statue, chaos unleashes and Audrey and her friends need to get Peter back (with a little help of course).
