Navratri 2018 Decoration Colours

Navratri is one of the major festivals in Hindus celebrated across India with joyful exuberance and lot of show. Navratri word is made up of joining two Hindi words Nav and Ratri, Nav means nine and, Ratri means night. The festival is celebrated for nine nights and ten days and is one of the longest festivals of Hindus.

Four-Time In The Year: Navratri 2018:

According to Hindu religion. Navratri falls Four times in a year. Which is according to Hindu calendar months is Chaitra, Aashadh, Ashwin, and Magha. Out of these Four, Navrati falling in Chaitra and Ashwin months which are more popular.

Basant Navratri falls in the month of Chaitra (March - April). The ninth day is observed as Ram Navami or the birth of Lord Rama. Sharad Navratri is celebrated in the month of Ashwin (September - October) and the tenth day is celebrated as Dusshera or Vijayadashmi.
