Azila a regular high school New Yorker, moves to the city of Miami in hopes of getting a better life. Unknown to her there are some deep family secrets which involves her being a sacrificial lamb and also being sacrificed by the black sheep of her ancestors(Katherine). Along the way she meets people who will be her downfall and her rise :Nick who becomes her friend but secretly has a crush on her, River who she has a crush on, Scott who she meets along the way and also is affected by a curse which Katherine placed on his family.
