At a young age, Izuku Midoriya has gotten bullied and abused due to the fact of having no quirk. One day, Midoriya's mother, Inko, told her own son to kill himself. He was about to jump off until Shouto Todoroki saved him last minute.

I am the author of this cliche fanfic, Starlight (My username has been changed to atlas ;) ). Trust me when i say, the beginning chapters are very weird and I, myself, do not like reading the beginning chapters so i recommend skipping through them. This is my first actual story in general that has some sort of plot. Updates will be slow due to school draining my creativity and motivation to even write. Sorry if the chapters are short at a point or straight up weird, i try to push out some chapters but i dont like how they turned out so im taking a bit longer to write them. Sorry for the inconvenience and hope you enjoy the story knowing this.

"I know ok?!" - Izuku screams, he never screams. Shōto flinches and fights the instinct to cover his ears as he stays put with his back against the bedroom door. Fuyumi frowns with the headphones in her hands, ready to place them over his ears, but for once Shōto wants to know. "He's not special! He's just-" - the sentence stops, Inko warns him to stop as it often happens and somehow Shōto wishes Izuku wouldn't stop. He needs to hear it, he needs someone to say that word. "I'm your son, you birthed me, and still I'm never a priority..." - Izuku says and his voice breaks. It's quieter this time. Shōto opens the door and takes a tentative step outside, not really knowing why: maybe to confront Inko, or maybe to comfort Izuku. The entrance door slams and he's faced with only Inko. She looks at him with so much guilt she might as well just have killed a man. "I'm sorry..." - she says and Shōto doesn't understand what she's actually sorry about. ~ To sum it up: Tōya decided to run away from his abusive household with his sibling. Endeavour face a trial for child abuse that lead to his immediate hero career decline and incarceration. While Tōya manages to run away with Natsuo, Fuyumi and Shōto end up in a foster home.
