Description: Macey has had a hard life. She was lied to about the truth of her family. She is now fifteen and she finally finds out what she has been wanting to her since her parents divorced when she was nine. After that, her life was turned upside down. Ever since her brother Jace turned sixteen he started getting in trouble and got arrested. Macey loves her brother but the police take her innocence away and it scars her for life when she has to see them arrest him, she begs them not to take him away but of course, they're not going to listen to a seven-year-old. Jace was in their county's jail for a year and a half and she came and saw him twice a week and he wrote letters to her every week. Jace and Macey always had a good relationship, despite their nine year age gap. Samuel and Macey didn't have a good relationship. She was bullied by her after her parents were divorced and before he was just mean. Trissa and Macey also always had a good relationship. She protected her when their father was drunk and when her brothers were mean. Until she ran away to New York when she was seventeen. If you want to join Macey and hear what she has to say about her crazy and messed-up life then keep reading...

Follow a group of young adults taking their first steps into adulthood as life teaches them countless lessons. Junior year in college is a crucial time as you're reaching the end of the educational race and get ready to close yet another essential chapter of your life. Important decisions need to be taken as the next year will be a validation of everything you planned for your future, or tried to. On the other hand, you also have life to experience in a more personal aspect, joggling with friendships, family and love while not trying to lose your sanity. And in the mist of it all, you're still trying to find out who you truly are. Dark times might happen more than you imagined, but in those trying times, even if it seems impossible to do so, don't forget to focus on the light. Keep your head up, smile and stay positive. ***** No part of this publication may be reproduced, distributed, or transmitted in any form or by any means, including photocopying, recording, or other electronic or mechanical methods, without the prior written permission of the publisher, except in the case of brief quotations embodied in critical reviews and certain other noncommercial uses permitted by copyright law.
