Beckett Coleman didn't have to be a villain. All he had to do was study a little harder.
But if you were almost failing your college psychology class, and your professor offered you a guaranteed A for bringing down the local hero, you might jump at the chance too.
The problem is Beckett has no idea how to be a villain. How is he supposed to take down a hero with probability powers? This might be just another assignment he fails.
And failing this task could cost his life...

"I've been looking for you." There was an unexpected rasp to his voice, a hint of desperation. He stretched out one hand, as if to brush it across my cheek, or perhaps wrap it around my throat. Oddly enough, I didn't know which option frightened me more. *+*+*+* Lily Burdett has an unfortunate gift for getting herself into tricky situations, but her luck is especially bleak the day she finds herself in the destructive path of the city's premier supervillain. Half Hero ⚡️ {Superhero Adventure Scifi}
I should be dead. At least, that's what the government officials told me in the super-secret lab where I woke up strapped to a mattress in a windowless room...Sound problematic to anyone else? Like I told the psychos experimenting on me, I've got zero clue how I got my new powers, but I'm sure-as-shit not going to let them turn me into a deadly weapon (or squeeze me into a spangly jumpsuit). Problem is, I'm not so great at controlling whatever the hell it is I've become...Not to mention I'm on the run from my country for a teensy-weensy act of treason while being chased by a shadowy masked mute who may or may not have superhuman abilities too (but is definitely stupid hot under his off-putting disguise). This is further proven by the sudden appearance of enhanced individuals nicknamed "Blights," which single-handedly explains the general consensus about them. Hated and oppressed, Blights have had their backs against the wall for decades. Teenager Liam Wang must learn how to juggle both his civilian life and the life of his super-powered, crime-fighting persona "Narukami" and all that comes with it.
