Logan Marshall is a sophomore at Sioux City South high school in Sioux City, Iowa. Logan once heard his dad describe living in Sioux City like "living in the middle of nowhere, even though there are people around." Logan agrees with this statement, and he felt it was a perfect way to describe his home life. At school though, he has friends. Good friends. And also, Kristen. Logan loves Kristen . . .  but he hates himself. He hates himself a lot. He makes himself suffer because of it. Logan Marshall is miserable. He needs to change that if he's going to save his own life . . . from himself.
