[Completed] In a kingdom ruled by a cruel king, no one is out of the watchful eye of the royal family. Not even Roux Aimrey herself, hidden away in a refugee village built from the ground by her parents.
If dealing with the looming eye of their leader wasn't enough, Roux's power, an immortal strength, is dangerous and untrained. She believes facing the hypocrisy of the village is the worst of her problems until a powerful storm invades their home, and it's not just any storm. Standing in the chaos, Roux finds the prince of Esaria has come for her; he requires her power to aide his own.
Roux must navigate her new life in the castle and learn to leave her old one behind, all the while learning to trust her power and what it must take to force her way into the prince's black heart.

HEIR | The Cursed Monarchy | Book 1
~ COMPLETE AND NOW AVAILABLE ON AMAZON ~ In the Five Kingdoms of Saol Eile, magic is the only currency and those who have the most cast long shadows across the land. Amidst lavish parties, sumptuous banquets, and sprawling castles, despicable tyrants have risen, calling themselves kings by right; emperors, by the laws of old magic, and monarchs, by the wealth they've procured. When it's rumored that an army of flesh-eating monsters has risen from the shadows, tyrant-kings are forced to submit to a far more dangerous power - the sorcerer standing at the head of it all: The Cursed One. Orphaned and penniless, eighteen-year-old Cecily Trask's magic has always been reluctant to emerge. But with the kingdoms at the brink of war, she vows to do whatever it takes to keep her people safe-even if it means breaking all the rules, reaching into the depths of her soul to unravel the bindings around her true power, and allying with the potentially dangerous prince, Daire Niadh, to do it. In a landscape thick with mistrust, desire, and incipient hope, Cecily and Daire cross paths in an unfamiliar world forever changed by violent forces neither of them understand. They should hate each other. They should want each other dead. But their grief both draws them together and breaks them down, until all they have left is their shared goal - to defeat The Cursed One, even though for Cecily, the journey means almost certain death. ❧ Copyright © Marcella Colavecchio, 2014 - 2020.Complete
The Atonement of a Writer
Lilianne Marineau, aka Lili, a struggling writer like you and me, wakes up to find herself in the body of Arielle Dumont, the female protagonist in her own, half-written novel. What would happen next? She sure as hell doesn't know. At first, all Lili wants to do is survive, and is overcome with the feeling that she had been bound by chains of her own making. Soon enough, though, she realizes she had been atoning for the wrong thing--and maybe, just maybe it was not her fault. A story of a writer who has to live as a character in a world she hasn't quite fully developed yet. A terrible writer with terrible concepts of magic in a fantasy world--and yes, there are glitches. TW: anxiety/depression/existential crisis esp in the earlier chapters, but quite mild, nothing we all haven't experienced before (I think anyone would reasonably panic in MC's situation). Still overall fairly lightheartedComplete

Protector of the Crown
COMPLETED BOOK I was trained to be a weapon for the kingdom. I was forced into servitude to the King after my family was ripped from me. My new life was covered in the blood of my family...and now I had to protect the royal family who ordered my parents' death. They're all monsters, except for him...he was my charge and as much as I wanted to hate him, the prince was nothing like his vicious father. He was a warm light in my cold and dark world. I was supposed to be controlled, cold, calculating and deadly, but he made me crave freedom, warmth and all the things I thought died with my family. I no longer knew my path...but I knew it led to him. ****** Don't hesitate to let me know what you think of my book or if you see grammatical errors/plot holes! *16+ is recommended...sex is implied but not described (I came up with that little rhyme while I was brushing my teeth this morning!) and there are scenes of violence.Complete
