Another shot rang out and I realized it didn't sound like a normal hunting rifle. My heart jumped into my throat as I wondered what Lincoln had gotten himself into.

Elizabeth was a normal girl. After moving to a new city, she thought her life would stay the same: boring with nothing too exciting happening.
And it was, until she met Lincoln Faelen.

Lincoln knew the Hunters had been closing in. They had been for a while now. He had planned on moving his brother and sister again. His father had ordered it so many years ago, should something like this happen.
Then Elizabeth came to town.
A strange pull kept bringing him back to her, no matter how hard he tried to stay away and leave her alone. With the Hunters creeping closer to their whereabouts, Lincoln can't seem to choose between his family and the girl who made him feel like his life had purpose.
