London's friends are not your average group of kids. They seem to have these special powers almost. Michael can control the wind and even fly, Liam can control water, Morgan Lily can control sunlight and is somehow really good at poetry, and Kirsten can control people's minds. But what is London's power? And who exactly is her mom? Follow her journey through her life of middle school, demigod, and maybe even a little teenage romance?
This is a fan/teen-fiction story modeled after Percy Jackson. Except for the characters, setting, plot, blah blah blah... the point is that the main similarity is the demigod kids. There is a bunch of character development that I plan to do with the main character, London. She's SUPER smart but small and shy. I'm really hoping to make this a funny, realistic (relating to real teenage lives, I mean, not the whole half Greek god part), sarcastic, and romantic story.

She hasn't seen any other person besides her homeschool teacher since she was a little girl after a mysterious incident happened at school one day that her mother refuses to talk to her about. She keeps her locked away on a farm and only lets her go out occasionally. It isn't until her cat dies and after picking him up, becomes alive again when she realizes why her mother has locked her away for all these years. She discovers she has the gift of healing. When she confronts her mother about it, her mother reveals to her that they are not human but in fact, Goddesses trapped inside human vessels to protect Kore from the Gods who want to marry her. But things only get worse when one day, as Kore is picking flowers in the meadow, there is an earthquake and she is taken up by this earthquake and falls into the arms of none other than Hades. She asks for nothing. She WANTS nothing. Just to stay in her dark basement-apartment, do her mindless data-entering job by day, play video games by night. She refuses to participate in a real social life, and won't read the news or be active in the LGTBQIA+ scene that she belongs in. No, Ophelia is done giving a sh**. She'd rather live in her fantasy world, ignoring the real world around her. That is, until a mysterious puddle surfaces in her backyard, and she jokingly wonders if it'll be a portal to another world, someplace better - and she falls into it. Oh, she's transported to a new world, all right -- but not a parallel world or an alternate universe. She's transported to the past; into mythology, specifically. This is story is made from collaboration, me and three friends would constantly update and edit this. We thought it would be fun to do this. (Book 3- Can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading The Demon's Demand before this one.) Hades, the immortal demon, ruler of the underworld. Known to be vicious, cruel and deadly, offended the wrong goddess. However he didn't expect the consequence to be a gentle, happy and kind girl. Who also happened to be the daughter of the equally as deadly shadow queen. Will he change his ways for her? Will he accept her bubbly and sweet personality or will he resent it? Excerpt: "I-I haven't been able to rest, I haven't been able to sleep, breathe, think with you around." He spoke stepping closer to me. His eyes swimming with emotion I haven't seen before from him. "When you laugh and smile, I feel as if my life is complete. Just knowing your happy makes me- it just makes me feel like I've done something right. As the narrator, I'm tempted to simply write "Middle Finger" because that is essentially what you'll feel like I'm giving you in telling this story. However, for the sake of not being a complete dick, I'll write a little more than just a description of a disrespectful gesture. This story can aptly be described as crude and deranged. As you may have surmised, a crazy person will be telling this story, and the characters involved are indeed also all crazy in their own special ways. So, given this exercise in mental illness, the topics touched on (in no particular order) in this tale are destruction, death, superpowered wackos, torture, pain, loneliness, chaos, the will to survive, never giving up, giving up and not giving a shit, the desire to protect, failing to protect and causing more trouble than was already present, disappointing and/or abusive parental figures, bullies, unjust punishments, just punishments, racism, violent and usually superpowered fights, sci-fi gadgets, bitterness, sarcasm, twisted and demented comedy, control or lack thereof, weird and awkward high school drama, lies and brainwashing, alien aggression, moral ambiguity, unhinged villains, fantastical weapons, a piece of shit main character, conditional friendship, a fuck load of musical references, anger, fear, depression, extra-dimensional creatures, godly powers, various esoteric connections, pop culture references, and of course, in general, superpowers.Concluida
