It's about Kyra and Jake. They've been friends for years...until Jake has to move because of a family problem. He leaves promising Kyra to never forget her and that he'll find her.
Years later Jake hasn't kept any of his promises, at least that's what Kyra thinks. Jake remembers everything and thinks of her every single day in his famous life. As Jake became famous, Kyra grew up in hatred of him. She refuses to believe that he is as saint-like as all the fans say he is. Then one day Kyra is visited by an old friend of both Jake and her. The old friend brings an offer for her to go on a cross-country road trip. Hesitant because of her own family problems, but determined, she says yes. While in California, Jake has his own ghost to fight off.
