Dr. Thomas Allen II is a doctor in the small Alaska town of Sitka. He has lived a normal everyday life, nothing exciting ever happened in his town. The worst thing he had to deal with on a daily bases was his mother trying to force him to get married and have children. That is until the day when strange things start happening in his town. How will Dr. Thomas handle town people being attacked by "strange lights in the sky" as some of them would describe their attackers? Will Dr. Thomas be able to care for the town as everyone seems to fall ill with a mysterious disease, and will he be able to save everyone once the government intervenes and quarantine off the entire island? One of the biggest questions he has to face is who is Special Agent Echo and can he truly trust her to help him get everyone out?
