Originally in direct response or inspired by the Wattpad 'travel blog' competition. I have embarked on further exploration of my own experience and travels around the United States in 2003. The story was intended to be 1,000 words. I have now decided to continue you it on and make it more of a short story.
If you are following my blog ' Journey To a Published Novel' this story is more a sequel to that work of fiction which continues to be written and the one I describe. With the intention as the title of the blog suggests to be published. If you're not following this blog, why not!?!
Whatever the reason for this particular story. I've given up worrying and I'm writing it anyway. The inspiration I'm embracing. Chapter 1 hath finished in New York. At this point, Greyhound travel trundles on to DC - keep your eyes peeled for further chapters.
To further update this. As of 18th September 2021. I have published this short story inspired novel via Flagpole.

Both equally ruthless and thirsting for power, he hires her as his lethal interrogator and assassin, however she quickly becomes more when neither can resist each other. But can she learn how to truly care for one of the men she was taught to use? Can he control his jealousy long enough to take advantage of her tricks? Will she love him enough to share her biggest secret - who she really is? Read to find out!
