Vanessa Hentings is a girl no one really gave a second glance to. She was beautiful, no doubt. She was just a very Quiet girl. In school she was always the loner. She never really fit in, nor did she let others get close to her, in her eyes it was just a necessary precaution. Because, Her parents; the people you're suppose to be able to trust with your lives: left her to die as a toddler. Then the one person she thought cared, the one person she thought was her friend, the one she finally let into her life hurts her, she doesn't think she will ever be able to trust again, but when she gets sent to a new foster home, to one who actually seems to care, things start looking up for her. With her rapist in jail, and her parents just unknown shadows to her she feels safe. With an Unlikely best friend who introduces her to a guy, who actually cares for her everything in her life seems to start falling into place. But will she let her troubled past get between her and her new life?
