" Louis, you know I can't be with you ". Harry sniffled, wiping tears off his bruised cheek tenderly. His busted lip poking out as he pouted.

" yes you can, just say the word and we can make it happen ". Louis whispered softly, taking the boys hand in his and intertwining their fingers together as if the boy would run away from him....again.

" it's not that easy! I'm tired of getting burned. It hurts, I can't take much more. The burns don't heal, the pain is still there...the scars just cover it up ". The broken boy mumbled, pulling away from Louis's touch.

" but baby ", Louis started, slipping a finger under Harry's chin and moving his head up so their eyes could meet. Blue met green as both of their eyes shined brighter then any star. Harry's green eyes filled up with tears as they stared into Louis's blue ones that held so much passion and love.

" didn't anyone tell you? Baby, we are fireproof! No one is gonna burn you again. Those scars are a sign of healing, it takes time for them to go away...but don't you think they're worth it? ". Louis couldn't help but admire the curly headed boy as he kissed all of his tears away, all of his problems, all of his hidden scars. They all started to fade.

" now baby, tell daddy why neither of us will get burned again...". Louis smirked, moving some of Harry's curls out of the boys face gently as he stared into his eyes.

Harry sniffled one last time as he nodded and wiped his face with his sleeve, letting out a small, cute giggle

" because we're fireproof ". He answered, smiling as Louis chuckled and ruffled his hair.
