In a flash, my sword was against the queen's throat as I pulled her away from her guards with a deep threatening growl coming from my throat. The guards' shocked expressions were enough for me as I sneered at them. "Move, and I will kill everyone in your kingdom."

They didn't dare.

"And as for you," I snarled at Queen Amaranda, "I don't care if you disrespect my kingdom in front of me. I don't care if you throw insults at me. But think twice before insulting Queen Shea in her courtroom."
