All I craved for was love.

That's all I ever wanted from him.

That's all I needed.

All Kalila wanted was a fairytale like romance, like her parents had. She wanted a mate that would love and cherish her forever. So she waited for that mate to come. Only for it to be the crown vampire prince. Their enemy.

You might think you always get attention for being a princess. Well that used to be true for Kalila, that is until her mate started ignoring her for someone else. She soon went from being loved to being ignored by her own mate.

"All I am asking for is for you to pay more attention to me." Kalila sighed as she sat on the bed.

"You are not at the center of attention Kalila!" Liam raised his voice.

"There are much more important things happening, than you wanting to get attention!" Liam exasperated.

"Tell me, do you prefer Chanel over me? Do you still love her?" At this point tears swelled up inside her eyes. She had walked closer to Liam.

Without say anything he walked out the room slamming the door in the process.
He didn't need to say anything for deep down Kalila already knew the answer. She fell to the floor sobbing as the tears had escaped her eyes.

Holding her hands up to her eyes she wispered "I'm your mate.I should be more important than anything. I guess I always knew." With that she cried herself to sleep on the cold hard floor.

Once upon a time darkness was feared and light was a blessing. As darkness was black, black became evil and was feared in return. As light was white, white became virtue and was worshipped in return. Monster they called her they shouted and yell but there was no knight in shining armor or so she thought. She was outcasted, feared, and unwanted for simply being who she was. I was born in darkness but I learned fast the darkness doesn't always equal evil just like light doesn't always bring good. My back was to the wall while he kept his hand right around my throat. "Relax my dear if I wanted you dead you'd be dead already." He threw me on the ground but I wasn't planning on staying there for long I managed to sit up when I see Thomas. " No don't you dare play hero!" He came in running straight for me when he grabs him slamming him to the wall keeping him bound. " I knew you'd come first you're the fastest compared to your brother. No matter you can watch the show once your brother gets here." I realized what he meant...no. No! I started crawling away holding my side when he steps on my leg. "Please...no". He looked at me smiling ear to ear before grabbing me by my hair. I held my tongue I can't cry I can't scream. That's when I hear the sound of a door swinging open. "Enzo...Get your filthy hand of my mate!" His voice roared throughout the room. "Finally the main event can begin"! I looked around the room and my eyes stopped at both of them and I knew that I wasn't going to make it out alive... **Pause** "No, please, please!" I heard them beg but I knew it was out of their control. "I- I'm not afraid to die, I'm only afraid that I'll never see you again" I whimpered quietly, almost whispering. "I love you" was all I was able to say as I felt my life slowly slip away...

My mate. So weak. So pathetic. I have a weak and pathetic mate. I thought as I looked at her in disgust and displeasure. Just like me when I was human. She is human! I don't want a mate. I don't want a weak and pathetic mate! She can't fix me! She's nothing! Screw this! My thoughts were going berserk with the rushing flashes of my past. I tucked my hand through my hair roughly in an unsuccessful attempt to stop the replay of those horrible evocations. I laid her on the small grass patch at the side of the deserted road. She was half-conscious, so possibly she could hear me... "Hey!" I said, jerking her pale face gently. Blood was covering half of her face but she was still looking beautiful in the moonlight. The sparks weren't going unnoticed and I reminded myself that it was just the mate-bond. I was determined in my decision and there was no way I was going to change it. The girl opened her eyes slightly and with that, I did what I thought was right at that time. "I, Kane Wilson, reject you as my mate!" I said, with all the strength I could have mustered in my miserable state of emotions and with that, I left her there, feeling extreme pain in my heart. But I pushed that pain aside and ran from there in my ultimate inhuman speed. Away from her! Still feeling the Rejection Pain. *~*~*~*~*~*~* He rejected her when she didn't even know what he meant for her. The Moon's Light by SilverJuniper
35 parts Complete Mature
"Why do you think Katty chose 'Moon' as her surname? Why not just stick with Le'Roy?" I glanced at her in question, surprised by the random question. Lilith continued speaking when it was clear I had no answer. "I think it has a meaning, even if she hadn't been thinking of it at the time." "It means she wanted something a little less conceited than 'the king'?" "Well, her parents are technically royalty." Lilith grinned and shook her head. "No. I think she chose 'Moon' because of what the moon does. The moon can't produce its own light. It can only reflect back what it's shown. Above all else, Katty fears forgetting how to love. So she surrounds herself with those who have nothing left to lose, because they love the deepest, and she reflects it all back at them." I swallowed and she tightened her fingers in mine before disentangling and getting to her feet. "Try, Max. I promise you, they've got no ulterior motives. Not when it comes to loving you and wanting the best for you." Then she was slipping from the room. I dropped my face into my hands and shuddered. I couldn't cry. I was all dry already. But if I wasn't I would have had tears flowing down my face. I felt so stupid. All she wanted from me was love. All either of them wanted, was love. That's why my blood and my body meant nothing to them. Because all they needed from me was a demonstration on how to be human and a reason to stay that way. This story is meant to be read alongside Moon's Reign, which comes after Moon Rise. It is written to make sense on it's own, but it will begin rather abruptly and there will be little character introduction.

This story is the sequel to my previous story "King of the Vamps". It would be beneficial to read that story first as you will be introduced to some characters and certain plot points! Clayton, the son of revered King Ulric and Queen Amaryllis has reached the age to find his mate. The day he tracked her scent, he expected to find a gorgeous vampire attached to the scent. However, a small human child stood in place of his expectations. He felt an intense need to protect the little girl and to love and provide for her as an older brother would for their younger sister. Although he was expecting a mature female to complete his mate bond with, he is prepared to raise his young mate, who was unfortunately abandoned by her parents. He is determined to provide her a life full of happiness and love. ****** "What difference does it make how old I am? I'm not a little kid, Clay. If it's about me being 18, six months doesn't make a big difference." "You're making this very difficult for me," he said, his jaw clenched. "Please tell me," she whispered. Clay tilted his chin up and closed his eyes. He couldn't handle looking at her face. If he looked at her for one more second he would break. She was the only person in the world who held enough power to weaken him. "Please," her sweet voice whispered again. And there his resolve went. Completely out of the door. He grabbed her hips and pushed her against the wall. "You want to know, Hadley?" He asked, his voice dangerously low.

Original and un-edited version of my first book "The Kings Luna" In all it's grammar errors and cheesy snd boring storyline . !!Disclaimer!! This book is for entertainment purposes only and may not be copied and used by anyone or any application. The large door closed and he turned to face me. He had the kind of face that stopped you in your tracks. I couldn't help but let my eyes wander. He was incredibly built. Chest muscles bulging and his biceps balls of strength. His long legs were swelling with muscle. He looked like a perfect Greek statue. No, he was a perfect Greek god. He turned to me and growled. "Mate," the word left our lips in unison without even the slightest amount of effort. His eyes returned to normal color as he studied my face. Noticing my slight fear he spoke, "I'm sorry, my love," reaching over and grabbing my hand and placing a gentle kiss on my knuckles. "Tu sei la donna più Bella che abbia mai messo gli occhi su," he spoke in an unfamiliar, yet beautiful language. He kissed my hand and caressed my face. "What does that mean?" He chuckled loudly filling the room with his sexy raspy voice. "You are the most beautiful woman I've ever laid eyes on," he answered. "What is your name my love?" "Bianca North," I spoke proudly. "Not for long," he smirked.
