Devon Speas: A Brief Bio

Devon Speas was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico, in 1976. His father was an executive in the Apparel industry. In 1986, his family moved to North Carolina, where he attended high school and college. In the interim, the family moved to Bowling Green, Kentucky for 3 years. He was very active at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington, where he served as President of the Chi Phi Fraternity, worked as a server at Pusser's (now BlueWater) and Clarence Foster's (now 22 Main) in Wrightsville Beach, and held a marketing internship at Jackson Beverage, the local Anheuser Busch distributor. Devon launched his career in New York City and spent the next 20 years spanning the country and the globe working in marketing and strategy for large enterprises. In Devon's free time, he likes to run, travel, and attend concerts. Devon is now launching is new business venture, Alturas Capital, LLC. He currently lives in Carolina Beach, North Carolina.
