Feng Meiza is a your average eighteen-year-old who is just trying to find her place in the world.
After 10 years in the USA, Meiza returns to Shanghai for good where she starts her studies at MingDe in order to take over the Feng family business.
She adapts quickly to her new life with her childhood friends by her side but secrets, lies and deception threaten to destroy her happiness and all the people she loves.
Through all this, she manages to find her true love - her best friend since she was a toddler: Huaze Lei, the tender flower - who turns her world upside down.
Huaze Lei is fresh out of university and was ready to accept his single life when his childhood friend returns home and he is sent into a frenzy of mixed feelings. Things worsen when an old flame arrives and Lei becomes immensely confused about who he really loves.
Lei's quiet demeanour is slowly broken down when he realises who his true love is. He will do anything to keep her safe and protect her - Feng Meiza, his angel.
