Born This Way

A story of a boy embracing his true self instead of embracing what society thinks he is: a girl.

Characters:

Valerian Wyatt (born Anna Chayka), a trans man who moved in with his best friend Cyan after his biological parents reacted badly with his transexuality and pansexuality. (Transsexual, pansexual, he pronouns)

Skylar Wyatt, Valerian's adoptive father who celebrates the LGBTQ+ community. (Cisgender, heterosexual, he pronouns)

Garnet Wyatt, Valerian's adoptive mother who celebrates the LGBTQ+ community. (Cisgender, asexual, biromantic, she pronouns)

Alex Wyatt, Valerian's adoptive sibling. They also celebrate the LGBTQ+ but tend to be quiet about it. (Non-binary, queer, they pronouns)

Cyan Boelens, Valerian's best friend who he first meets. (Androsexual, demigirl, she/they pronouns)

Lyli, Cyan's old-school friend who moved to Estonia for her fathers work. Doesn't appear in the story but is refrenced by Cyan a lot. (Aromantic, cisgender, she pronouns)

Ridley Wilson, Valerian's crush. (Polysexual, cisgender, he pronouns)

Mx. Boelens, Cyan's parent who is the school's mentor and helps Valerian with accepting himself. (Bisexual, genderfluid, they pronouns)
