She was nothing but a tool to them. A tool of destruction that brings death upon others. She was used and broken.

All she ever wanted was freedom. She wanted to be normal and live a normal life. She wanted to be loved.

But despite this, she knew that could never happen. She could never be free. She could never be normal or even have anything near normal. She can never be loved for even she doesn't love herself. At least, not in this life she can't.

That is why she was granted another life. Another chance.

So she escaped before anything ever started. Before she got used. Before she became broken. Before she was pulled into the endless black abyss of self-hate.

She restarted her life. Lived a new one. Even if she was not always free, she was still able to do things she never imagined ever doing in real life. She finally got her wish. She finally found a reason to love herself. She finally had freedom. She was finally free.

This is her story. A beautiful story. About a girl not close to your description of normal at all. A girl you could call unique. This girl's name was Lucine. And her goal is to REWRITE her story.

The Lost Life of Laraine by BearGoRawr
55 parts Ongoing
She lead a rather tragic life. The black sheep of her family due to her lack of affinity for fire. Her affinity was quite the opposite. Water in fact. Already in a time when women did not really have much political power or rights, she was outcasted by her family despite being of nobility. Still allowed to live in the distant west wing of the massive Grand Duke's manor, she has never eaten a single meal with her family nor extended family, and has spent her loneliness in her books and sword lessons. Although only taught by the head butler and one of the low ranked knights of the family, she was quite bright and if her family would have given her a chance she would have done great things. If only she didn't die at such a young age. Married off to some "hero" of sort that had slayed the Dragon of the North who was terrorizing the land and threatened the kingdom, this hero also had an affinity for fire and held her in disdain like the rest of her family. Suddenly a girl of another world was transported to their world, picked up by this hero and put into his secure care. The pair soon fell for each other despite the hero's marriage, and many believed Laraine got jealous of this girl of mystery, and tried to kill her. This was definitely not true. But because the girl was favored by the temple and kingdom Laraine was quickly arrested and put on trial. You can probably tell what happened to Laraine. But something strange happened the day of her execution. As soon as her decapitated head hit the ground the sky turned blood red and it began to rain fire. No one survived that day. But for some reason time went back, and Laraine was back to being a child, but with no memory of her future. There were select few in her life, however, that remembered her tragedy and now perhaps will take action to prevent it. NOTE: I'M AWARE THERE ARE A LOT OF INCONSISTENCIES. IT WILL BE EDITED SOME DAY BUT RIGHT NOW I'M JUST TRYING TO FINISH IT.

67 parts Complete Mature
Time didn't matter to her. She got up when the sun did and tried to sleep when the sun went down. because of this seemingly endlessness, she's forgotten her name, she's forgotten her family and she's forgotten everything she use to be. Now she was nothing. Living on the streets of a town begging for money and food from travellers that didn't know who she was, unlike the rest of the town that thought of her as something unnatural even though she doesn't know why. Constantly abused by the townspeople who don't understand her, she is left to die in an alleyway after a horrible run in with three drunk men. She was expecting to die and have her corpse eaten by rats and other vermin. What she didn't expect was to be saved by a woman that was everything but human. "Do you want to live?" This woman asked and when she looked into herself she knew the answer, it came easy through her busted lips. "Yes." From that day on she became something else, something not human, something extraordinary and from that day forth she will serve this woman who saved her life and maybe one day remember her name or be given one by her new Mistress. Maybe one day she'll remember who she was and maybe she'll even find the one person that completes her soul. From that day forth she became a Nightwalker. Completed. This is a lesbian story and contains mature actions between females. There will be warnings at the beginning of the chapter if you do not wish to read such content.

It was Edith's third life. First she was a poor hardworking girl lost under the pressure of work in the modern world of airplanes and computers but then she died.... Then she found herself in the novel she used to read. The book was worn out as she had reread it several times and now she is bound to the plot as a character who had to avoid the fate of ending up the villainess's accomplice and save her life. So her choices ultimately almost led to a happy ending where she even fell for one of the second male leads but then...SHE DIED AGAIN. >﹏< >﹏< ⏳⏳⏳ Now again she was in the novel world. Was this to avoid death or her lover? She couldn't really say but the only thing was some characters were now different from the initial novel plot especially Derek whom she loved.
