Poems for the broken
I started writing poems because I had to get my emotions out in some other way and poems helped because I got a deeper meaning from them and had to put lessons I learned the hard way in my writings. I feel as if these were meant for those who could under stand my pain and anger at those who did me wrong. I don't care what you think about my writing because it's part of me and this is how i'm choosing to show you who I am. I was bullied. I did have my heart broken. I have came back stronger. THERAPY (excerpt)
Sometimes you have to get lost in order to be found... I'm needy. I'm broken. Cutting breaks through my numbness, but only opens more wounds. Depression, bullying, self-harm...that's my reality. Sex and guys...my escape. The space between the truth and lies is blurred leaving me torn, lost and confused. And while the monsters that live in my head try to beat me--the two men that I love try to save me. This is my story of friendship, heartache and the grueling journey that is mental-illness.Complete
