Brush my teeth, get dressed, go to school and do homework. That's what my life was about, occasionally going to parties. But when a new kid comes to school and turns your world upside down, your best friend turning into your enemy. And me, turning into something that isn't exactly human. Things could get pretty strange. Especially with a life like mine. It would take a lot of work to actually survive, but to live at the same time is just exhausting. But it's all worth it. "That's all it was, just a memory, and that's all it will ever be" We all hold nothing but the faint memories of the last. Whether we choose too or not. Some get discarded and never forgotten, some make us laugh or cry, and some it's nothing more that a soft smile. However, what if you were to get memories from your past life? Not memories of yourself, memories of your soulmate, how do you react? The only thing is, they stop when you found them. When Bell has this struggle throughout the final summer just before her senior year, she handles not as you would expect. Taking the information but doing not much about it. Those memories slowly start to mix in with everyday life till it's nothing new to her. Everything seem to stop when she finally started talking to a fellow classmate. and from there, they start to make there own memories, slowly working there way to the epilogue. I frowned, thrown off "Do i...remember?" "Do you remember..." she starts but her voice falters. She glances down at the sand, biting her lip debating whether to even continue. She then takes a shaky breath and finally looks up. Eyes locking with mine " do you even remember how you got it?" Her question hits me like a slap. I open my mouth, then close it, my brows furrowing as I force my brain to rewind. How did I get it? Nothing. Not a single clear memory. She steps closer, her voice trembling, but the edge of anger sharpening her words. "Or when? Or where? Or for what reason? Or what it even means?!" I flinch at her tone, but I can't answer her.
