Breathing Again

I try to yank on the rope that was tightly tied on my wrists.

With a click I freeze as the door in front of me opens ajar before slamming open making me jump.

My kidnapper stands in the doorway he is tall and has broad shoulders by his silhouette.

They saunter over making my heart beat rapidly against my ribcage.

"He will be here soon" the stranger sighs nonchalantly

"Who will?" I ask as he circles around me slowly my eyes follow is every move the way he takes his time with every menacing step how he looks down at me without any hint of empathy.

The stranger leans next to me. His breath fans my ear before he whispers into my ear.

"Mason" his voice is deep and gravelly.

A new wave of panic washes over me.

"Maddie, breath, Inhale ,Exhale"

"It's Addison you nitwit" I snap back my throat closing up even more.

"Maddie breath" Mason instructed his voice calm

I breath in heavily my heads shake fear builds, I can't breath.

My vision blurs.

"Maddie!" Mason yells panic laced into his words.

I take another strong heavy breath. A wave of relief washes over me when I can breath normally again.
