"I love you." I muttered looking at the floor. There. I finally said it and...I meant it.
"You do, huh?" He smirked. "Surprise! Its over!"
"What? What do you mean 'over'?" I questioned. What? What's this about? I thought...wait. He pointed to me then himself. My vision became slightly 
"Perfect timing too. Ha! And you thought!"
"You..." I stopped for a moment, trying to comprehend what was happening. "You- It was- YOU LIAR!" I screamed tears already pouring down my face.
"You were just too easy." He stated, shrugging. He then swung his leg over the side of his motorcycle and drove off, leaving me alone with no way back home. So much for the one year anniversary surprise.

From then on Maria Garcia never let anyone near her heart. After her parents got divorced she is now living with her (almost) always gone mother and breaking up with her "boyfriend". Will she find peace, love, and security again? Read "Boys Like You" (by me) to find out.
