The mandatory computer chips embedded in everyone's forehead improves strength and intelligence, and even bestows magical elemental Throwing powers to some.

Will Adrian ever discover his own Throwing powers, and finally upgrade from a lowly Bronze citizen to a coveted Silver citizen position?

"The Interface" is the first in a Sci Fi Fantasy book series filled with magic, deceit, propaganda, mind control, hallucinations, and other imagined side effects of implantable technology.

In the vast sprawl of the cyberpunk city of Neo-Etheros, magic entwines itself with the latest technology. This kind of metropolis stirs beneath the surface, driven by some very ancient and mysterious power now awoken: The Obsidian Arc-an AI that had been dormant for so long, designed for the merging of arcane power and artificial intelligence, holding within itself the keys to gargantuan and world-altering power-but its awakening may unleash chaos across the city and beyond. A tragic past reluctantly draws former bounty hunter Zeph Voss into the hunt. Together, the brilliant mage Liora Thorne, with her own dark ambitions, and rogue technomancer Kaelis-a man riddled with failure-must navigate a city rife with corruption, dangerous syndicates, and hidden magical forces. As they unravel the mysteries of The Obsidian Arc, the three must confront the enigmatic Veiled Syndicate, who seeks to master the AI and establish their own dominion over Neo-Etheros. Betrayals from the past resurface, forcing Zeph, Liora, and Kaelis ever deeper into their own inner demons and the fragile trust residing between them. As the clock winds down, and the Syndicate closes in on them, they will need to decide whether to harness The Obsidian Arc for themselves or destroy it before any wrong hands get the chance to turn around and use it on them-before the very fabric of reality gets torn asunder by a meeting of magic and machine. In a world filled with both technology and the arcane, can they survive against the darkness binding them into The Obsidian Arc? Or will the unimaginable power it holds consume the city and everything they have fought for?

Everyone feels safe and well taken care of, with their fates, including their love lives, already predetermined. Everything was in place, until one day, Pia, a Keeper-in-training, came across something she wasn't supposed to see, in the midst of her desperate attempt to get together with Agui, her first love. Pia is convinced that Agui is her real love and her not getting together with him was the reason why all relationships she tried entering into always end on a bad note. There's only one problem in their getting together, though-her Exorbit malfunctions when she uses it with Agui, and their compatibility and dating prompts don't show. Determined to find a solution to what she thinks is the only thing keeping her and Agui from getting together, Pia finds herself entangled in the operations of Mulat, an underground movement of great thinkers who wanted to break free from government control brought by the Exorbit. There, she meets Aki, a dreamy, idealistic guy who also makes her heart skip a beat. In this post-apocalyptic society where choices are limited, Pia found herself deciding not just for herself but also for the future of the entire Tanglawan. Adrian, a 21-year-old game developer, had just graduated from college with a guaranteed position at one of the country's largest game development companies, but instead of his dream coming true, it ended in a car accident after his graduation party. When he woke up, Adrian found himself in the body of a 17-year-old high school student. To his surprise, this guy wasn't graduating from an ordinary school, but from one of the gods! Having taken over the body of a young god, Adrian had thousands of ideas on how to use his divinity of creativity to get as many believers as possible. Adrian realized a great way to get thousands of believers quickly. "Can't I use my deity to make games and ask for prayers for believers to play my games? Do my believers need something to fight monsters with? I'll make a game where they can capture monsters that will fight for them and evolve! Do a red fire dragon, a blue water turtle, and a green plant frog look familiar? It's just a coincidence. Is my believer's technology too weak? What changes can an intelligent AI assistant bring to people's lives? When the God of Lightning decided to invade the realm of my believers, the creatures he encountered left him speechless. "The God of Creativity wasn't weak? Where did so many powerful monsters come from?" The God of Thunder cried out in despair. "I'm no longer the God of Creativity, I'm now the God of the Internet!" Adrian said with a smile as he ordered his followers to attack the enemy army. From the young god with the weakest and most underestimated divinity in the class, who no one believed could graduate, to the god the other gods can only look up to. This is the journey of Adrian, the God of the Internet. Join the discord at: discord.gg/NunuXD

In the process of revamping this profile and this novel... thanks for your patience! (Estimated time of arrival: 12/01/19) "What are we?" I muttered in awe. "Efferent." He cocked his head slightly to the side. "Although, I do not believe that anyone is truly like you, Ardyn Danvers. You are something different altogether. You are something far more superior." ********** In a society dictated by intellectual prowess and where your status is determined by your level of brain function, Ardyn Danvers finds herself on her knees with a historically low percentage. With few choices left to make, and a dim future ahead of her, Ardyn is resigned to joining the rest of the bottom feeders in the gutter. But when an esoteric clinic of scientists develop a serum meant to increase tested brain function, they threaten to turn the nation's establishment on its head and heighten government control. Intending to level the division between the high percentages and the low, they had expected to use the serum to bridge the gap between the undesirables at the foot of the hierarchy to the elite standing at the pinnacle. What they did not expect, however, were the side effects. ********** © 2017 AaPThomps all rights reserved. COMPLETED FIRST DRAFT. Cover by @-wanderes
