Kate lived a quiet, regular life with her sister Corene. Other than occasionally taking care of stray cats, she was normal.
Everything mediocre in her life was soon destroyed when she woke up in a demon jail surrounded by a quirky half-demon Ciara and the surly Hunter, Alley. 
She is then called the "Guardian of Prophecy", a type of supernatural race that is destined to save this strange new world, stop its revolution leaded by an illusive man named Seven, and provide peace to the various races and species of it.
Can she accept her fate and embrace her destiny? Or will she turn her back on billions of lives to return to normalcy?

Her first mission is to find the people who will help her to save the world. Trusts will be broken and formed, lives will be broken and Kate will have to face what previously had been fictional monsters under her bed.
