This is a story about the emotional and mental abuse I experienced in high school during my first real relationship. It will include foul language, themes of self harm or harm to others and manipulation. If you are reading this or are interested in reading this, please don't take this lightly. This story is about real events I experienced and how it has effected me even to this day. The picture for this story is one of myself after this had happened and during my healing process. If you or anyone in your life is experiencing something like this, I want you to know that the best thing you can do in a relationship like this is leave as soon as you can and have people around you to help protect you. Abusers and manipulators want to hurt you when nobody is around, so being around people who will stand with you is the best way to help get away from people like this. Please protect yourselves.
