Two months after the events of Super Mario Odyssey, the Mushroom Kingdom is due for a change; a change that involves a certain crown hidden away by Kamek in Bowser's fortress. Peach tries to make amends with Mario while Bowser decides to finally take a "vacation". As the relationships are put to the test, an impending doom soon awaits them that their elders had thought would be lost forever.
