Lyra Emerson has been independent since young. Well she has to be or else how would she survive? Her parents had abandoned her when she was born and Lyra spends the rest of her days traveling and discovering new things through the world of the School of Good and Evil.
 
Though Lyra is perfectly happy with adventuring around the Woods for the rest of her life, she suddenly finds herself talking to an old enemy. The School Master to be exact. And unfortunately, he did not come empty-handed. 

Looking at the invitation letter to a certain school in his hand, Lyra knew her life would no longer be the same. 

Before she knows it, Lyra is thrown to the School for Evil where she meets her old friends as well as some new enemies and two certain Readers who thinks they have switched schools.

Perhaps the School for Good and Evil is much more than Lyra realized . . .

Everything turns upside down when a little boy named Ash enters town, a boy who looks eerily similar to the witches' former enemy.
