There's not a lot that can freak me out in this world. Only large animals with sharp claws, too many people touching me, bullies, hives, horror movies, sitting underneath fans or lights or anything that dangles from a ceiling, glass or wooden bridges, my mother, mosquitoes, public situations, taking a shower with nobody in the house, taking a shower with too many people in the house and crocks. Oh, and zombies. Zombies is definitely on that list. It's almost a shame too, that I have to race through a city packed full of them to find my missing family. Packed full of zombies, by the way, not crocks. (Although I don't know which situation is worse.) The reason why they moved, was because he wanted to give himself and his children a fresh start. The murder of his little sister Annabelle and the divorce of his ex-husband took a heavy toll on him. Adam started drinking and doing drugs to cope with the pain. He named his youngest daughter after his sister to honor her. A woman passed him with her dog. She ask him to move out, because it's haunted. A horrible event took placed in that house many years ago. Adam doesn't believe her. Pretty soon, Max starts hearing child laughter and a lullaby at night. She tells it to her dad, but Adam says she has to stop watching horror movies. But what they don't know is that the woman was right. The house is possessed by evil spirits. The story threatens to be retold if they're not careful. But when Adam finds out a dark secret, it's already too late.Complete
